The Government has announced that it will distribute rice assistance to beneficiary families for three months starting from September to November.
During a working visit to Banten province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo handed over the assistance directly to beneficiaries at the Jombang District Office, Cilegon city, Banten province, on Thursday (09/12).
The President explained that the assistance will be provided for three months with ten kilograms of rice each month.
The recipients expressed their gratitude for the rice assistance. One of the recipients named Siti admitted that she was grateful.
“I got rice and basic necessities. Thank you, Mr. Jokowi,” she said.
Another recipient Elina also expressed gratitude for the assistance from the Government and expressed hope that the assistance can continue. (BPMI/AIT) (EST/LW)
